ABOUT US
Geraint trained at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear hospital in Gray’s Inn Road, London, where he met his future wife, Jayne. They both qualified as audiologists in 1976 and were married the following year.
While Jayne remained working for the NHS, Geraint left to join the established Welsh folk band Ar Log as singer and guitarist. After touring the world with the group he decided to get back to his original profession and joined a private hearing aid company and started working at the David Rees Hearing centre in Cheltenham.
After the company became part of Siemens Hearing in 1983 Geraint and Jayne relocated to Wales with their young children Ffion and Osian.
Geraint set up his own business, Geraint Davies Hearing/Cymorth I’r Clyw in 1990 and worked from various clinics before opening the Hearing Centre at Llanrwst, the market town where his father, the writer, poet and broadcaster T Glynne Davies had won the Crown at the National Eisteddfod in 1951.
His daughter Ffion qualified as a Hearing Aid Audiologist in 2005 and joined her father in the business, and in 2015 her brother Osian joined the company.
We work closely alongside eminent Ear Nose and Throat consultant Mr Zak Hammad FRCS.
We're an independent family-run business and take pride in providing the very best hearing healthcare possible.
OUR SERVICES
Hearing Assessments
Your initial hearing assessment includes an otoscopic examination of your ears, as well as a thorough hearing test and evaluation. We can then see whether or not your hearing needs assistance and, if it does, discuss the available options with you before deciding upon the most suitable hearing solution for your individual requirements.
Wax Removal
We now offer Clinical Ear Care at our Practice. We will examine your ears and assess whether or not wax removal is necessary, and treat and advise accordingly.
Please come along or book your appointment with Ffion today! Why not skip the NHS waiting list and be seen within days! Could even be that next day!
Prices are £50 for one ear or £65 for both.
Aftercare Service
To ensure that you continue to get maximum benefit from your hearing aids, we provide a complete aftercare service, which includes free regular check-ups and reprogramming as required. We know how important this is to a successful fitting. We have the time and expertise to ensure that your hearing aids continue to give you the best possible results.

Different types of Hearing devices
We provide a professional, non-biased and honest advice to suit your hearing loss, lifestyle and budget. Working closely with the worlds leading independent hearing hearing aid manufactures:

ITC instruments features a custom earmould that fits down the ear canal and a small portion that faces out into the outer ear.
ITE (In the ear)
